I believe in the body’s inherent wisdom—that sometimes cultivating true health is simpler than we think. My work has taken me down so many incredible paths, and the more I do, the more I am able to see clearly what is needed in our modern healthcare system. I think the best way to nourish our bodies is to know ourselves physically, mentally, and emotionally, and through my countless hours of supporting new families through the journey of ushering new life onto the planet, I’ve come to truly understand the power of having someone that you trust in your corner.

I grew up in a thriving community in Santa Barbara, California before moving to New York, where I graduated with a BA in Public Health, Creative Arts Therapies and Education from New York University in 2012. After New York, I attended Bauman College of Holistic Nutrition in Berkeley, California in 2013. While attending cooking school, I was lucky enough to work with pregnant and postpartum families through meal support, and I realized I was completely in love with the entire process of birth and wanted to learn more. After earning a degree as a Natural Chef, I worked as a cook at Spirit Rock Mediation Center in Marin County before moving back to Santa Barbara to be closer to my family and to finally dive into birth work!

After attending my initial Doula training through DONA International, it has been a beautiful, full-force journey for me. I’ve had the honor of supporting over 190 families as they’ve welcomed their babies into the world, and each birth has been deeply special to me. I’ve been able to work privately as a doula in hospitals, at home, and also very closely with the incredible Santa Barbara Birth Center as a doula and Midwives’ assistant. In early 2020, I moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico where I practiced Birth and Postpartum doula work with the Birthing Tree Collective for 3.5 years. During this time I also certified through Cornerstone Doula Trainings in March 2022 as a Childbirth Educator. In Fall 2023, I returned to Santa Barbara to continue to offer Birthwork in my beautiful hometown.

Also in 2022, I certified through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, with an emphasis in Advanced Hormone Health. Besides going in-depth on all things nutrition and what healthy eating and living can look like, hormone health has become an increasing interest of mine, having witnessed countless birthing people experience pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period, as well as issues of fertility, conception and contraception, and sexuality.

It is an amazing feeling to have all of my passions combined in all the work I now offer. In addition to my full spectrum Doula support and Childbirth Education, offering 1:1 Holistic Health counseling has been such a fulfilling addition to the work that I do.

I look forward to hearing from you!
